Weirsdo Roundup: Hard Solo Off and Away
In happier news, we congratulate Hard Solo on getting in to Curtis (as if there had been any doubt!). Recently I had an opportunity to read chamber music with him between concerts, and it is the sort of experience one will one day tell one's musically inclined grandchildren about. Besides being incredibly talented, he is always gracious and polite to those of us who have more trouble sightreading Debussy than he does. We wish him well.
Labels: Diamonelle, education, Hard Solo, Mrs. Weirsdo, Tom and Icy

Good luck to H.S. Does he know his Weirsdoville name, by the way?
I assume he does because he commented on a post once, but we've never discussed it. My feeling is that for him any publicity is good publicity, and I'm sure he knows it's all in good fun.
He is spectacular. His playing was like 3 violinists at once.
