St. Peter the Captist

To Annie’s complete surprise, Hobbes Junior, who had never shown anything but scorn towards devout Captists, had a large portrait of St. Peter the Captist* printed and hung in the baby’s nursery.
*Peter the Captist was Mrs. Weirsdo's cat, and a prophet of Christopher.

I wonder if Captist cats practice water immersion baptism.
Quite honestly, (and I hope I'm not out~of~context) but is this pictorial presentation planning on maybe two or three "fast-forward" shots anytime soon?
I see now that what I took to be a wardrobe is in fact a cabinet where, no doubt, small rodents gather to barn dance whilst the St.Peter trips the light fantastic with the lady in his arms.
Oh, ok, I thought that was Christopher himself.
I always found the eerily correspondent part of GONE WITH THE WIND slow at this point also, K.
No, C. J. D. It's an armoire. Rodents are particularly unwelcome in Captist households, except as snacks.
Oh, it's so...holy! I am considering becoming a Captist myself after seeing it. But I don't think PANSI would approve.
Does she approve of you now, J. D'A.?
