Winnahs!

Mall Diva was a winner in the Veryred State Teachers Association competition.
So was Moony.
And so was Bryan, my other student who entered.
Yay!
Btw, my viola student whose grandmother is Rena the artist and who is now studying with a fancier teacher at Nearby State University, was a regional winner in the American Federation of Music Clubs Composition contest this year. Nationals haven't been judged yet, I think. She wrote her piece while still studying with me, but she really doesn't even have a composition teacher.

We found the story of the 76(?)-year-old Holocaust survivor who stood in the doorway so his students could climb out of the windows especially moving.

Wow, congratulations to all of them! How very proud you must be.

I found that profile particularly moving as well. All of it is so very sad.

Congratulations to Mall Diva, Moony, Bryan and the proud mother-teacher!

I agree with you that the story of the holocaust survivor saving his students was particularly touching.

Tx, G, Doug, and T&I.
Maybe I left the footprint ON them. As in the occasional kick in the pants.
